Mississauga Valley Supervisor
Ms. Nicole is the Supervisor at our Mississauga Valley location; she also oversees the administration of all 3 Brilliant Minds Montessori sites. Ms. Nicole is a Registered Early Childhood Educator and has been a teaching / supervising at our school for over 10 years. She has been integral in the development of the educational component of the program ensuring that the foundations that are important for children to grow and flourish to their optimal development are implemented daily in our program: Belonging, Well Being, Engagement, and Expression. She ensures the programs strive to support optimal development by ensuring that these four foundations are considered in all aspects of our programming in partnership with parents.
Ms. Mehr is the Supervisor at our Bristol location. She has a Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Canadian Institute of Montessori Teacher Education. She is a dedicated, resourceful and goal-driven professional educator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster meaningful relationships with the children, staff and parents. She loves working with children and her loving and compassionate personality creates a classroom atmosphere that encourages the cognitive and social development of the children.
Ms. Ursula is the Supervisor at our Rivergrove location. She is a seasoned Montessori teacher and earned her Montessori Teachers diploma from Canadian Institute of Montessori Teacher Education. She is a firm believer that the first six years of child’s mind is very absorbent, and thus must be fully utilized. This philosophy guides the way she operates the centre. She facilitates learning by programming a variety of activities that are fun and stimulating to the children.
The staff at Brilliant Minds Montessori are trained Montessori Teachers as well as an Early Childhood Educator in each classroom. All of our staff members hold Montessori and/or ECE diplomas and are trained to understand your child’s development. Every child in our care receives age-appropriate opportunities to develop physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. Our staff members are also fully trained in Standard First Aid & CPR, to ensure the safety of your child; and all staff /volunteer have a criminal reference background clearance.
Our educators support learning by providing activities and materials that children find engaging. By facilitating learning, supplying a developmentally appropriate environment, interesting materials, and adequate time to explore, play, and interact, through inquiry to the world around them.
Brilliant Minds staff are continuously upgrading their education through workshops, conferences, independent study, and researching topics of interest in the field of Early Child Care and/or Montessori.
